Block Paving Sealing
Block paving is not the easiest surface to keep clean as it is very vulnerable to 'attack' by all forms of surface growth such as algae, moss and lichen. This is because most types of block paving are very porous. The water content retained in the blocks makes it very easy for these forms of surface growth to take a firm hold.
The best and easiest way to resolve this problem is to seal the block paving with a resin based acrylic sealant. This will create a non-permeable layer of sealant on the surface of the paving to inhibit water retention and help prevent future surface growth.
